Specialists in plastic injection moulding, Sincoplas wanted to look for alternative solutions. “We were looking for materials that could be diverted from their primary use and found a solution with a material used in aeronautics to produce complex technical parts”, explains Vincent Gilbert, Sales and Marketing Director of Sincoplas.

“It is a clear alternative to Zamak, which is more difficult to recycle. Thanks to its natural weight, it can also be used without ballast in a cap or a chase,” says the Director.

Even if it is decorated, lacquered, metallized or pad-printed, Sincoplas’s Heavy Metal material can be recycled with metals, the company says.

“It offers remarkable engraving fineness, and there are no constraints in terms of shape or size,” adds Vincent Gilbert.

The luxury industry is already interested in this innovation for cosmetics jars and caps, or perfume chases. It should be available on the French market next March.
