Oregon State Police served a warrant for illegal marijuana at a property in the 13,000 block of OR 62 in Eagle Point on Wednesay, June 8, 2022.

During the raid, 5,038 illegal marijuana plants contained in eighteen greenhouses were seized. Five individuals were detained, identified, interviewed, and released.

According to OSP, the property had been leased for the sole purpose of illegal marijuana cultivation. Jackson County Code Enforcement was present and levied fines in the amount of $58,000 for code violations related to unapproved greenhouse structures, solid waste, and unpermitted electrical installations.

Assisting the OSP Southwest Region Drug Enforcement Section team personnel from the Illegal Marijuana Enforcement Team (IMET) of the Medford Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, as well as Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
