A&G Real Estate Partners and Murray Wise Associates start to take over the sale of 1.87 million square feet of greenhouse and agricultural warehouse-REJournals

A&G Real Estate Partners and Murray Wise Associates LLC have initiated takeover sales of the 1.87 million square foot greenhouse and agricultural warehouse complex on 151 acres in Paris, Kentucky, and a nearby 50,000 square foot manufacturing and warehouse facility located in Greater Lexington, Kentucky market. 

The sale was conducted on behalf of Aurora Management Partners, Inc. (the receiver of AgTech Scientific Group, LLC); Color Dot LLC; and other affiliated companies as the pending federal takeover of the Lexington Division of the Eastern District Court of Kentucky Part of the case. The final sale will be approved by the Federal Takeover Court.

These assets are provided separately and previously used as part of AgTech Scientific's large-scale cannabis cultivation and CBD production operations in Kentucky.

The joint venture partner is now issuing an offer for the greenhouse complex, and the deadline for the sealed bid for the 50,417-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility is Tuesday, February 1.

Located in the A-1 Agricultural District, the 151-acre lot at 1077 Cane Ridge Road includes multiple greenhouses with a total area of ​​1.57 million square feet, 155,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, and 150,000 square feet of multiple tunnels. The complex includes a main office/production barn, a shipping building, two warehouses and six greenhouse ranges, each with a total area of ​​approximately 270,000 to 280,000 square feet. The site’s 13 Gothic Quonset buildings have a total area of ​​11,520 square feet.

The Bourbon County complex was built in 2001 for the purpose of planting ornamental flowers. It was expanded several times in 2018 and converted to hemp cultivation for CBD use in 2019. The greenhouse series has two independent water tank rooms, which can accommodate three 20,000 gallon water tanks and one 100,000 gallon water tank.

The off-site facility was built in 2020 and covers an area of ​​10 acres. It is located at 333 Cleveland Road and is zoned I-1. The facility includes 24,000 square feet of production space, 22,000 square feet of warehouse and 4,500 square feet of office space. Features include two high dock doors, a drive-through door, steel/masonry structure, and a structure that meets C1D2 fire protection standards.
