Glass House Farms, California's best-selling cannabis flower brand, released its first sustainability report. As the carbon footprint and energy consumption associated with today's hemp industry are getting more and more attention, Glass House and Seinergy collaborated to conduct an in-depth analysis of its environmental footprint. The main findings of the report include:

The electricity consumption of the glass house farm is 90.2% less than that of the ordinary cannabis greenhouse, and 95% less than the average electricity consumption of indoor cultivation.

The carbon emissions of glass house farms are 67.8% less than that of ordinary cannabis greenhouses, and 96.2% less than the average carbon emissions of indoor cultivation.

In other words, the energy required for 1 ounce of indoor flowers is the same as the energy required for 10 ounces of glass house flowers.
