Who knows the ideal location for a tomato greenhouse in Croatia?

The Dutchman Jan de Jong and the Croatian Jerko Trogrlic are establishing a planting project in Croatia. They want to build a greenhouse to grow tomatoes in a country that is currently highly dependent on imports and has almost no high-tech gardening.

As the gentlemen said last year, the project name (CROP Hrvatska) already exists, the business plan has been in development since last year, and investors have also stepped forward. Together with Dutch partners, the project may invest 18 million euros. The question now is: where will they build it?

To get the answer to this question, we made a call on LinkedIn. It is looking for about 12 hectares of land, of which 6 hectares are used for greenhouses and 5 hectares are used for solar power plants. The available waste heat and the city can find enough labor nearby.

Gentlemen are currently paying attention to the following provinces: Županija: Bjelovarsko-bilogorska, Virovitičko-podravska, Brodsko-posavska, Osječko-baranjska, Vukovarsko-srijemska, Požeško-slavonska or Sisačko-moslavačka.
